Heartland Housing Sanctuary
Heartland Housing Sanctuary is a program within Heartland Family Service that provides services to survivors of human trafficking, exploitation, and those that engage in sex work.
Services include:
Sanctuary House
A 90-day crisis stabilization shelter for up to 14 individuals or adults with children .
Advocacy
A community-based service designed to assist survivors in any setting to develop a new start in life.
HOusing
Intended to assist survivors to obtain and maintain a safe, healthy living environment, free from violence and exploitation.

Douglas and Sarpy counties in Nebraska
Pottawattamie County and Southwest Iowa
Eligibility
Referrals can be received from survivors, social service agencies, and law enforcement, with no county or state stipulation.
