The “Carnival of Love” Gala, “Share the Light,” announces emcee Dave Wingert

The “Carnival of Love” Gala, a virtual celebration, will be hosted online from Friday, February 20 to Saturday, February 26. The event is hosted by the Heartland Family Service Friends Guild. Julie Gibson-Beier and Laressa Tromler are event Co-Chairs, and Candy Golden is the Friends Guild President.

A new sponsorship level, the “Starlight Sponsor,” has been added to this fun and charitable event. For $1,500, you can invite eight to 10 friends to “attend” the “Carnival of Love” Gala in the safety of your home to watch our kick-off broadcast on February 20, or for our finale, a livestream auction to help us “fill the heart” on February 26 – or host a party for both! When you become a Starlight Sponsor, you will receive your company or personal name on a full screen backdrop for all “Carnival of Love” Gala productions, verbal recognition during the online program, and recognition on all website and social media postings and other communications.

Individuals and businesses also have the opportunity to become a “Nightlight” Sponsor for $100. To become a sponsor or to donate to the “Carnival of Love” Gala, visit to register safely online.

There are a number of additional ways to participate in the “Carnival of Love” Gala, including:

  • Viewing our livestreaming event at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 20, and at 7 p.m. Friday, February 26 at
  • Bidding on our silent and live auctions – pre-register by texting “CarnivalofLove2021” to 243725.
  • Making a donation throughout the week and/or during our Hope for Families finale, beginning at 7 p.m., Friday, February 26

As the agency’s largest fundraising event, the “Carnival of Love” Gala benefits Heartland Family Service programs that help improve the lives of our community’s most vulnerable children, individuals, and families. Your support will help us create a community of opportunity. So everyone can.
