Assistance in obtaining and maintaining permanent housing for individuals and families who are literally homeless and have at least one person with a disabling condition. Financial assistance and case management are provided in order to remove significant barriers to stable housing.
Eligibility:
- Heartland Housing Beginnings: For young adults 18-23 who are former wards of the state (state custody or foster care). Services are provided in Douglas and Sarpy counties in Nebraska.
- Heartland Housing Solutions: For individuals and families who are literally homeless. Services are provided in Pottawattamie County Iowa and Dougless and Sarpy counties in Nebraska.
- Samaritan Housing Initiative: For single individuals who are experiencing long-term or chronic homelessness. Services are provided in Pottawattamie County in Iowa and Dougless and Sarpy counties in Nebraska.
