Throughout its 130-year history, Heartland Family Service has initiated and supported collaborations with area organizations. Sharing staff and resources reduces duplication of services and strengthens the programs of both organizations. We define a “collaboration” as any agreement with an organization to coordinate services to the public. Collaborations may be as simple as an agreement to share resources, or as formal as placing our part-time or fulltime staff at the other organization’s workplace.
