WON'T YOU PLEASE HELP?

Last year, we helped nearly 40,000 people in need. But individuals and families are coming to us with more desperate, more complex problems than ever before. Their lives are shattered by serious problems that need the expertise of highly skilled experts. Children are at risk of growing up in troubled or even unsafe environments that threaten the stability of their future.

We cannot help all these people without your support. Consider, for example, our domestic abuse program. Last year, 812 women and children in the heartland fled an abuser and came to us seeking shelter. We had room for only 363 of them.

Whether it is emergency shelter, multiple mental health problems or simply food and clothing, we need your assistance to help people get back on their feet.

The need is great. Please support the vulnerable women and children who need it most. Give generously, from your heart.

Please donate now.

Your valuable contribution will help:

  • Prevent child abuse by teaching parents safe discipline skills
  • Rescue a woman and her children from a violent home
  • Strengthen a troubled marriage through professional counseling
  • Help an addict change her life and regain her family
  • Keep a homeless family together as they get back on their feet
  • Aid a lonely senior citizen with social contact and activities
  • Give hope to a neglected or abused child in our children’s emergency shelter
  • Watch a teen turn his life around after being in trouble with the law
  • Stabilize a low-income family that needs a helping hand after a crisis
  • Offer recreation and tutoring to girls in North Omaha after school and during the summer
