2004 Safe Haven Event Supports Domestic Abuse Program
July 12 was a hot day with a nice breeze, as 72 golf carts scooted off to their assigned holes in our annual Safe Haven Golf Event, a fundraiser for our domestic abuse program. The event was a Texas scramble at beautiful Champions Run, starting right after a lunch furnished by Arby’s, one of our event sponsors. The course challenged the best golfers, as well as those who participated for the fun of it and to support the victims of family violence. Afterward, everyone enjoyed a great meal and the tournament results were announced.
