Annual Gala
This annual event is our largest event, held in February. It’s a fun evening with dinner and a silent auction.
Solomon Girls Center Scholarship Brunch
Every year, a $1,000 scholarship and awards or recognition are issued to Solomon Girls Center members.
Safe Haven Golf Event
Support our Domestic Abuse program and the Safe Haven concealed domestic abuse shelter at this nine or 18-hole golf event.
“Strike a Chord - A Dueling Pianos Event"
A "Dueling Pianos" event featuring international food and drink and "Celebrity Art" from our own little corner of the world
“Blues, Barbeque and Bogeys” Golf Event
Have you ever played golf in the dark? Or with a ball that is twice the normal weight? Try this event for a fun alternative to serious golf. Or don’t golf and simply enjoy barbeque with your blues.
Fremont Comedy Night
Laugh, and support a worthy cause by joining us at our annual “Stand Up for Kids” Comedy Night.
“Salute to Families” Recognition Program
In this program established in 1982, we honor four families in the categories of Leadership, Community Service, Challenged and Successful and Commitment to Family.
National Family Week

"HALO" Healthy Alternatives For Little Ones Picnic
Children from pre-schools and child care centers from across the Heartland join us for this annual picnic and day of fun in the sun!
"Bedazzled" Halloween Eve Fundraiser
A cocktail buffet and silent auction fundraiser to support our Safe Haven shelter and domestic abuse program.
Terry K. Watanabe Foundation Charitable Trick or Treat Event
This event has been a tradition of the Terry K. Watanabe Charitable Trust, Mr. Watanabe’s foundation, for many years, and is renowned for the substantial treats the children receive.
The Senior Prom
This event, sponsored by the HFS Junior Friends, is an evening of dining, dancing and fellowship. Join the HFS Senior Center staff, the Junior Friends, and senior citizens from across the Heartland for the Prom!

Spook-O-Rama, a scary and fun Halloween benefit for the Heartland Family Service Domestic Abuse program.
