A cocktail buffet and silent auction fundraiser was held at the residence of Brad and Nancy Mellot in Papillion on the beautiful fall evening of October 29, 2006. This patron party, which was chaired by Jayne Timmerman and Toni Schropp, raised nearly $10,000.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Heartland Family Service Domestic Abuse Program offers a 24-hour crisis line, the "Safe Haven" concealed shelter for victims of abuse, and a comprehensive array of counseling and support services designed to break the cycle of domestic violence.
